The standard length for bar stock is 12". Shipping will automatically be calculated based on this length.
You can see the current shipping cost at any time by clicking on the drop down menu on the cart page which will then display the shipping choices available. You will need to select one of these before checking out. Note that you cannot checkout with £0.00 shipping option. If this option shows in the list then that is because a product in your basket has an over rider in place to restrict certain shipping methods (which would otherwise be available based on weight alone) due to the size or hazard rating of the product. Also note that the website only increments shipping costs upwards once a shipping method has been chosen. Therefore if you remove items from your basket you may need to re select a lower shipping method before checking out.
All international orders are sent with DHL. Some destinations may carry a surcharge and these area codes can be checked by clicking on the link below to see if they are within DHL's definition of a surchargeable remote area. If your post code falls into one of these areas then you will have to email us to request a shipping quote.
In the event that your consignment does not arrive then we will compensate you for your loss or resend the order but only after the respective claim procedure has been completed for the chosen carrier. These procedures can be found on the respective carriers’ web sites. Note that although Royal Mail usually charge less for light weight parcels, the timescale for their claims procedure is often lengthy and we cannot compensate you or resend the order until this procedure has been completed.
Generally couriers will try to deliver a parcel twice before returning it to us. It is your responsibility to make arrangements to receive the consignment which will need signing for, and this may mean that you will need to have it shipped to a different address from where you live such as a work address or neighbour if you will not be in during normal working hours. If you place an order and are then not available to receive it resulting in it being returned to us, then we will refund to you the value of the order placed excluding the cost of both forward and return shipping.
Please note that in all cases we reserve the right to alter the shipping method chosen, which will be regarded only as your preferred shipping method.

Other orders sent outside the UK may be subject to local import taxes, duties or other charges pertaining at any such time to the respective destination country, and these are the liability of the importer (you, our customer). Note that these additional costs will be collected by our shipper, DHL, before making the delivery to you; they also charge a minimum of £11 processing fee. We advise that you use their online import duty/taxes calculator tools for your destination country before placing your order with us. If you reject import costs after your order has been dispatched and it is returned to us then we will only refund the cost of your order less shipping costs incurred in both directions and also less any respective customs duties/taxes that we have had to pay to re import the goods into the UK.

Steam fittings should be tested for correct operation in the application in which they are to be used in accordance with normal statutory test procedures for small steam boilers and pressure vessels. GLR Kennions Ltd will not accept any liability for accidents caused by failure of the correct operation of any steam fittings.
Please note that although we will replace a casting if proven to have a manufacturing fault, due to the often high cost involved, we will not pay the shipping costs in so doing for destinations outside the UK. If you (our customer) are unwilling to pay the shipping costs for a replacement casting, then we will refund the price paid for the casting, only, excluding the original shipping costs.
You have the legal right to cancel your order within fourteen working days beginning with the day following receipt of the goods (unless you have opened sealed goods) by sending an email to [email protected] In addition, you must at your expense send your cancelled order to the return address. If you wish to exercise your right to cancel your order prior to shipping, please email as soon as possible after placing your order and we will cancel shipment if at all possible. We will refund the price paid as soon as possible, and no later than 30 days from your notification that you wished to cancel the order. We will only refund the cost of the goods to you, the original shipping cost together with any associated customs duties, taxes or return shipping costs incurred by us in respect of international orders returned is not refundable and if incurred will be deducted from the original cost of the goods before any repayment is made. If you wish to return goods then this is at your own cost unless the goods are faulty or incorrect. Where goods supplied are damaged, incorrect or faulty we will either replace the item or issue a full refund within 30 days of notice. If goods are confirmed to be faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied to a UK destination, we will refund any carriage costs incurred in returning the goods.
